Terms & Conditions

Countryside Water • COUNTRYSIDE Water LLC

Last Updated: November 05, 2026
Plain-Language Summary: These Terms & Conditions explain how we do business. They cover our $49 in-home water test and its refund rules, quotes and pricing, warranties, installation and service work, scheduled filter replacements, payments, cancellations (including Florida's 3-day rule), and how disputes are handled (binding arbitration in Pinellas County, Florida). Please read them before booking or purchasing from us. Using our website or engaging our services means you agree to these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms & Eligibility

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and COUNTRYSIDE Water LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Countryside Water (“Countryside Water,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of our website (www.countrysidewater.com) and all products, services, water tests, installations, and maintenance we provide.

By browsing our website, booking or purchasing our $49 water test, requesting a quote, submitting a form, responding to our advertisements, or engaging us for service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into this agreement. If you act on behalf of a company or entity, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. Our Products & Services

Countryside Water is a woman- and veteran-owned family business that has improved water quality for residential and commercial customers throughout Pinellas County, Florida and surrounding Tampa Bay communities since 1979. Our offerings include:

  • In-home water quality tests (including our $49 water test);
  • Whole-home water filtration systems;
  • Water softening systems (ion-exchange resin technology);
  • Reverse osmosis drinking-water purification systems;
  • Condominium and commercial filtration solutions (including pet clinics and office applications);
  • Scheduled filter-replacement services (typically performed approximately twice per year); and
  • Equipment installation, maintenance, and repair services.

Our equipment is manufactured in the United States using American-made parts wherever possible. All services are subject to scheduling availability and site conditions.

3. The $49 Water Test & Screening Disclaimers

3.1 What the $49 Water Test Includes

For a non-promotional or published promotional fee of $49 (plus any applicable sales tax), a trained Countryside Water technician will visit your property, perform a multi-parameter on-site water quality analysis of the cold-water supply at an agreed faucet, review the written findings with you, and explain treatment options suitable for your home or business.

3.2 Booking, Payment, & Cancellation

The $49 fee is due at the time of booking or at the service visit, as stated when you schedule. You may cancel or reschedule a water-test appointment at no charge by notifying us at least twenty-four (24) hours before your scheduled arrival window, in which case any prepaid test fee will be refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or visits where safe access to the property is not provided during the agreed window, may be subject to a $25 re-dispatch fee or forfeiture of the prepaid fee, at our discretion.

3.3 Purchase Credit

Where offered by Countryside Water and elected by you, the full $49 water-test fee will be credited toward the purchase price of any installed whole-home filtration, water softening, or reverse osmosis system purchased from us within sixty (60) days of the test date. This credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated in writing.

3.4 No Obligation Beyond the Test

Purchasing the $49 water test places you under no obligation to buy equipment, filters, or additional services. The choice is always yours.

3.5 Screening-Level Disclaimer

You understand and agree that:

  • The $49 water test is a presumptive, screening-level field test performed with portable equipment, and is not an EPA-certified laboratory compliance analysis. It does not produce a legally certified water-quality report. Certified third-party laboratory testing is available for purchase upon request;
  • Field test results and technician recommendations are informational estimates based on samples collected at a specific faucet and time, and they may vary with municipal source changes, well-water fluctuations, seasonal weather, plumbing conditions, and testing method tolerances; and
  • We cannot and do not guarantee specific water-chemistry outcomes, contaminant removal rates, or taste preferences, because incoming water quality is outside our control. Advertised filtration efficiencies (e.g., “99%”) refer to laboratory ratings of individual membrane technologies under controlled test conditions and do not guarantee identical results on every water supply.

4. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Any statements on our website, in our advertisements, or made by our staff regarding the potential benefits of filtered or softened water are for general informational purposes only. Countryside Water treatment systems are not medical devices, and nothing we state is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. If you have medical concerns related to your water supply (including questions about bacteria, lead, PFAS, heavy metals, or sodium intake from softened water), you should consult a licensed healthcare professional and the appropriate health department or water utility.

5. Quotes, Pricing, & Estimates

All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 calendar days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated in writing, and are subject to verification during on-site inspection. Published prices, promotions, and discounts (including senior, veteran, and first-time homeowner discounts) are subject to change without notice and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

If our technicians encounter hidden, deteriorated, non-code-compliant, or unexpected plumbing, electrical, or structural conditions, we will notify you before proceeding and will obtain your written or documented approval for any price adjustments. Sales tax and permit fees (where required) are billed in addition to quoted prices.

6. Scheduling, Site Access, & Customer Responsibilities

To perform our work safely and effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide safe, unhindered access to the installation area, main water shut-off valve, water heater, electrical outlets, and relevant plumbing;
  • Ensure the main shut-off valve is functional and accessible before our arrival (a defective shut-off valve may require a separate repair or service visit at additional cost);
  • Confirm adequate incoming water pressure, water flow, and electrical supply suitable for the equipment;
  • Secure pets and keep children away from work areas during service;
  • Have an authorized adult (at least 18 years old) present during the entire service visit; and
  • Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

7. Installation & Workmanship

Most installations are scheduled within 1 to 3 business days of purchase, subject to equipment availability and site readiness. Installations are performed by trained, qualified, and insured personnel in a workmanlike manner consistent with Florida standards.

You agree to inspect the completed installation with our technician before the technician departs, confirm that the system is operating and no leaks are visible, and report any concerns immediately. Countryside Water is not responsible for pre-existing plumbing deterioration (such as corroded galvanized pipes, brittle CPVC, failing gate valves, or improper drain connections) or for damage resulting from customer-supplied parts or pre-existing code violations.

8. Warranties & Warranty Exclusions

8.1 Manufacturer Warranties

Equipment components carry warranties provided by their respective manufacturers — including a 10-year warranty on water softener tanks and a 5-year warranty on control valves, subject to each manufacturer's written terms, conditions, and claim procedures. Countryside Water assists customers with manufacturer warranty claims but is not itself the manufacturer and does not extend or alter manufacturer warranties.

8.2 Countryside Water Workmanship Warranty

Countryside Water warrants its installation workmanship for one (1) year from the installation date. If a defect in our workmanship causes a problem within that period, we will repair or correct it at our option at no additional charge.

8.3 What Is Not Covered

Warranties do not cover damage or failure arising from:

  • Normal wear and tear, consumables, filter media, salt, membranes, and lamps;
  • Freezing, extreme weather, flooding, lightning, electrical surges, or other acts of nature;
  • Improper operation, neglect, lack of required filter changes, or use beyond rated pressure and temperature specifications;
  • Unauthorized repairs, alterations, relocation, or installation performed by anyone other than Countryside Water;
  • Untreated well water containing chemistry outside equipment specifications (unless the system was expressly designed for those parameters); or
  • Pre-existing plumbing, water pressure exceeding local code limits without a pressure-reducing valve, or damage to customer property caused by such conditions.

8.4 Warranty Claims

Warranty claims must be submitted promptly in writing to [email protected] or by calling (727) 797-4744, within 30 days of discovering the defect. Claims made after the applicable warranty period are void.

9. Scheduled Filter Replacement & Recurring Service

Countryside Water offers scheduled filter-replacement service, typically performed approximately twice per year. Under this program:

  • We contact you to schedule each service window; appointment times are mutually agreed upon;
  • Each visit is billed at our then-current rate for the required filters and service, which we confirm prior to scheduling;
  • You may cancel or pause recurring filter service at any time with no cancellation penalty, upon written or verbal notice, effective for any future visits not yet dispatched; and
  • Maintaining scheduled filter changes is required to keep systems performing as designed and, where applicable, to preserve certain manufacturer warranty coverages.

10. Payment Terms & Construction Liens

Water-test fees are due at booking or at the time of the visit. Payment for equipment, installations, and service is due upon completion unless a written financing agreement or alternate written terms apply. We accept major credit/debit cards, checks, ACH, and approved third-party financing. Invoices not paid within 15 days of the due date may accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% annually), or the maximum rate permitted by Florida law, whichever is less. You agree to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorney fees, incurred by us to collect past-due amounts.

FLORIDA CONSTRUCTION LIEN LAW NOTICE (FLA. STAT. CHAPTER 713): Florida law protects contractors and suppliers who improve real property. If payment is not made in full, Countryside Water and its suppliers may record a claim of lien against your real property in accordance with Florida Statutes Chapter 713, and may foreclose the lien in court, which could result in the loss of your property.

11. Right of Cancellation (Florida & Federal 3-Day Rule)

If you purchase products or services — including the $49 water test — under a contract signed at your home or any location other than our principal place of business, and the purchase price exceeds $25, you have the right under the Federal Trade Commission Cooling-Off Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 429) and the Florida Home Solicitation Sales Act (Florida Statutes §§ 501.021–501.055) to cancel the transaction without penalty within three (3) business days following the date of the signed agreement. We will provide a separate written notice of this right and a cancellation form at the time of sale. To cancel, complete and deliver that form (or a written statement) to our Clearwater address before midnight of the third business day. Refunds are processed in accordance with applicable Florida law.

12. Communications Consent (Calls & SMS)

When you provide your phone number to Countryside Water — through our website, water-test forms, chat widget, Meta Lead Ads, or otherwise — you grant Countryside Water your express written consent to be contacted by phone call and text message (SMS/MMS), including via automated dialing technology, automated text-response systems (such as LeadConnector / GoHighLevel), and prerecorded messages, for service, appointment, account, and promotional purposes.

  • Consent is not required to purchase anything from us;
  • Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply;
  • Reply STOP to cancel text messages at any time; reply HELP for help;
  • You may also revoke consent by calling (727) 797-4744 or emailing [email protected]; and
  • This section is intended to satisfy the consent requirements of the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227) and the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (Florida Statutes § 501.059).

13. Ongoing Customer Obligations Regarding Water Systems

Water treatment equipment operates under continuous water pressure and requires ordinary vigilance. You agree to:

  • Familiarize yourself with the system's bypass valve and the main water shut-off procedure shown by our technician;
  • Periodically inspect the system, lines, and connections, and report any drip, leak, pressure change, salt bridging, or unusual noise to Countryside Water within 48 hours;
  • Use only the salt type and consumables we recommend, and maintain proper salt levels in water softeners; and
  • Immediately turn off the system via its bypass valve and the main water shut-off in the event of an active leak, before contacting us.

14. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT LIMITS OUR LIABILITY AND AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

14.1 As-Is Information: Our website, blog, and promotional content are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

14.2 Disclaimer of Implied Warranties: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Florida law, Countryside Water disclaims all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, beyond the express warranties set out in Section 8.

14.3 Consequential Damages Waiver: Under no circumstances will Countryside Water, its managers, members, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including water damage, flood damage, mold, structural damage, property damage, loss of use, lost income, damage to electronics or flooring — arising from our equipment, water tests, installations, maintenance, or these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or strict liability, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

14.4 Liability Cap: In all events, Countryside Water's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to any product, service, water test, or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to Countryside Water for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim (or the $49 water-test fee for claims arising solely from a water test), or $500 for claims arising from website use alone.

14.5 Florida Law Carve-Out: Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations; where Florida law prohibits a limitation, that limitation will apply to the fullest extent lawful.

15. Indemnification & Force Majeure

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Countryside Water LLC, its managers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) pre-existing plumbing, electrical, or structural defects at your property; (c) modifications made to equipment by anyone other than Countryside Water; or (d) any inaccurate information you provide us.

We are not liable for delays or failures of performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hurricanes and extreme Florida weather, lightning, power outages, municipal water-supply interruptions, supply-chain disruptions, labor shortages, governmental actions, or acts of God.

16. Intellectual Property & Website Use

All content on www.countrysidewater.com — text, graphics, logos, photos, blog articles, and software — is owned by or licensed to Countryside Water LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and print content solely for your personal, non-commercial evaluation of our services. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, mirror, frame, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Promotions, coupons, and discounts cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be applied retroactively, and are subject to the specific terms stated with each offer.

18. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, & Governing Law

18.1 Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute between you and Countryside Water are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18.2 Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us in writing at [email protected] with a description of the issue and your desired resolution. We each agree to attempt in good faith to resolve disputes informally for at least thirty (30) days.

18.3 Binding Arbitration: If the dispute is not resolved informally, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual action in Pinellas County, Florida small-claims court. Arbitration shall take place in Pinellas County, Florida. The arbitrator's decision is final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.

18.4 CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND COUNTRYSIDE WATER AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
18.5 JURY TRIAL WAIVER: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW, BOTH PARTIES KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY FOR ANY DISPUTE ARISING UNDER OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES.

18.6 Time Limit on Claims: Any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services must be brought within one (1) year after the claim accrues, or it is permanently barred, to the extent Florida law permits such shortening of limitations periods.

19. General Provisions & Contact

19.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any written quote, work order, invoice, or financing agreement signed between you and Countryside Water, and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter.

19.2 Severability & Waiver: If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or removed, and remaining provisions will stay in effect. A failure to enforce any term is not a waiver.

19.3 Assignment: You may not assign these Terms or any service agreement without our written consent. Countryside Water may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

19.4 Modifications: We may update these Terms by posting the revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after updates constitutes acceptance.
