4. How We Collect Information

- Directly from you: when you fill out a form on our website, request a water test (including our $49 in-home water quality test), call or text us, start a chat, sign a service agreement, or speak with a technician at your property.
- From advertising platforms: when you submit a lead form through Meta Lead Ads (Facebook/Instagram), Google lead forms, or other ad products. These platforms collect the information you enter and securely transmit it to us.
- Automatically: through cookies, pixels, and server logs when you browse our website.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following business purposes:
- To schedule, confirm, and perform in-home water quality tests (including our $49 water test);
- To process test fees, deposits, payments, and any applicable credits applied toward equipment purchases;

- For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time the information is collected, or with your consent.
6. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Advertising & Business Tools
We use advertising products and business tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”), including the Meta Pixel, the Conversions API, Meta Lead Ads, Custom Audiences, and Lookalike Audiences, on our website and in our ad campaigns.
In accordance with Meta's Business Tools Terms, we provide the following notice:
- Third-party technologies: We use pixels, web beacons, and other storage technologies from third parties, including Meta, to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the Internet.
- How the information is used: Third parties, including Meta, use this information to provide measurement services, to target and deliver advertisements, and to report on ad effectiveness.
- How you can opt out: You can opt out of the collection and use of information for interest-based ad targeting through the following industry mechanisms:
You can also manage how Meta uses data to show you ads directly through your Meta account settings at facebook.com/adpreferences. When we run Meta Lead Ads, personal information you enter into the lead form is collected by Meta and delivered to Countryside Water for the purpose of contacting you about our services, subject to this Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy.
7. Google Services & Analytics
We may use Google services, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (e.g., GA4), and Google Ads, to analyze website traffic, understand how visitors interact with our pages, and measure the performance of our advertising. These services use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, pages viewed, time spent on the site, and referral sources.
You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on. You can manage your Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (pixels, tags, local storage, and server logs) for:
- Essential functions: page navigation, security, and load management (such as performance plugins like WP Rocket);
- Analytics and performance: measuring visitors, traffic sources, and site performance;
- Functional features: remembering chat sessions and form entries; and
- Advertising and retargeting: delivering relevant ads to people who have visited our site and measuring campaign results.
Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or receive warnings about cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some features of our website may not function properly. We do not currently respond to automated “Do Not Track” browser signals because there is no consistent industry standard, but you can use the opt-out links in Section 6 to control interest-based advertising.
9. Phone Calls, Text Messages (SMS/MMS), and Automated Communications
This section is important. When you provide your phone number to Countryside Water — including through our website forms, the water test request page, chat widget, Meta Lead Ads, or by calling or texting us — you understand and agree to the following:
- Express consent: By providing your phone number and submitting a request, you grant Countryside Water your express written consent to contact you at that number by phone call and/or text message (SMS/MMS) — including through automated dialing technology, automated text-response systems (such as our customer relationship platform powered by LeadConnector / GoHighLevel), and prerecorded or artificial voice messages — regarding your service request, appointment scheduling, quotes, service reminders, and marketing offers.
- No purchase condition: Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You can always reach us directly by calling (727) 797-4744.
- Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA) & TCPA compliance: We respect federal TCPA rules and Florida's telephonic solicitation requirements (Florida Statutes § 501.059). We maintain an internal do-not-call list.
- Message frequency & rates: Message frequency varies based on your service requests. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier plan.
- How to opt out: You may revoke consent and stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or by calling us at (727) 797-4744 or emailing [email protected]. Reply HELP for help. After you text STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message. Opting out of text messages does not affect your ability to receive service by phone, email, or in person.
- SMS data sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile opt-in data or SMS consent information with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
10. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes, except as described in this policy.
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations, including customer relationship management (CRM) and chat software (such as LeadConnector / GoHighLevel), email marketing platforms, website hosting and maintenance providers, digital marketing agencies (such as P3 Agency), payment processors, and financing partners;
- Advertising partners: Meta, Google, and other ad networks, solely for ad delivery, targeting, and measurement as described in Sections 6 and 7;
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect our legal rights, property, technicians, or customers; and
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business, in which case your information would be transferred as a business asset subject to this Privacy Policy.
11. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. These measures include TLS/HTTPS encryption of data in transit across our website, restricted employee access to personal information on a need-to-know basis, and password-protected systems.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — including providing services, maintaining equipment warranty and service records, fulfilling scheduled filter replacement commitments, complying with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolving disputes. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and the service relationship.
13. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are directed to adults who own or manage residential and commercial properties. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.
14. Your Privacy Rights & Choices
Depending on your relationship with us and applicable law, you have the following choices regarding your information:
- Access and correction: You may ask to review, update, or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at [email protected] or calling (727) 797-4744.

Nonetheless, we voluntarily honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete personal information as described above.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce, manufacturer websites, or our web design agency). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, advertising programs, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide more prominent notice (such as a website banner or an email notification).
